Blast at Nepal hydropower project days before Modi visit









KATHMANDU:  A bomb exploded today at the office of the Arun III hydroelectric power point in Nepal, which is set to be inaugurated by Indian PM Narendra Modi on May 11. The project is slated to come into operation by 2020. A compound wall was damaged, but there were no injuries. Nobody  has claimed to responsibility of the blast.

यूपी में पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी के निधन पर राजकीय शोक घोषित किया गया है। जिसके कारण सरकारी ऑफिस और सभी संस्थान बंद रहेंगे। इसकी घोषणा मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने की है। पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री अटल जी का बृहस्पतिवार को दिल्ली के एम्स अस्पताल में शाम पांच बजकर पांच मिनट पर निधन हो गया। जिसके बाद से पूरा देश शोक की लहर में डूब गया। सत्ता पक्ष से लेकर विपक्ष के नेताओं ने उनके स्वर्गवास पर दुख जाहिर किया। अटल जी अपने विशाल व्यक्तित्व के कारण विरोधियों में भी खासे लोकप्रिय थे। उनके निधन की खबर आने के पहले तक प्रदेश भर में उनके चाहने वालों ने उनकी सलामती की दुआ मांगी। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने ट्वीट कर कहा कि मैं नि:शब्द हूं। शून्य में हूं। उनके जाने से मन में भावनाओं का ज्वार उठ रहा है। मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने उन्हें श्रद्घांजलि देने के साथ ही उनके देश के लिए किए गए उनके योगदान को याद किया।
